Webster Church of God has been called by God to carry out a mighty work for His Kingdom. Established in the early 1900s, our church has been a beacon of hope, faith, and transformation in the Sumter community for over a century.
Founded on the principles of Holiness and Sanctification, we believe in being set apart for the extraordinary work the Lord has prepared for us. Our spiritual journey has been marked by powerful encounters with God and a deep commitment to His divine purpose.
According to the records of our international headquarters, Webster Church of God was officially organized on January 1, 1913, and is proudly listed in the minutes of the 8th General Assembly held January 7–12 at the North Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee.
We are honored to be part of the Christian Love Center (CLC)—one of the oldest recorded families in the Church of God. The CLC ministry is known for its unwavering standard of holiness, vibrant family atmosphere, Spirit-filled worship, and powerful prayer and revival services. It’s no surprise we’re known as
“A Church Alive and Worth Your Drive.”
Over the decades, Webster Church of God has been the spiritual birthplace for many pastors, preachers, and evangelists, where they first received their ministerial calling. While many faithful leaders have gone on to be with the Lord, some continue to live holy and serve with grace and devotion.
Though we may not list every pastor in chronological order, we honor the legacy and service of all who have shepherded this ministry. Their dedication has shaped the heart and future of our church.
